Suburbia

One of an ordinary street in down town Cologne.Left and right buildings are the common apartment style and at the ground floors are some boutiques as well as cafe, shops and supermarket. In the far down is the sky scraper called "Köln Turm" (Cologne Tower) which located in the north of Cologne's new city in the area named "Media Park". It is 165,48 m high with 43 floors. As far as I knew Köln Turm is not open for public to view the city from its plat form like in Köln Triangle.

Great city shot. Shame that you can't visit the tower, the view from there should be a good one.

Yes, that's typical, a busy street.

Wow. So many people confuined in such a small space with so many cars. I don't think anybody could get used to it. Are there stores where you buy groceries nearby or do you have to drive over town to find them?

I didn't do much today but...

I did write about how people used to wear long underwear over winter or until we began to stink. You can find the link at the bottom of the post today.

Thank GOD that I do not live in this kind of street and to buy my groceries I only need to cross the street which 3 times bigger than this...I don't think I can be patient enough to look for parking for my groceries shopping in this narrow street...specially to pay for the parking house fee in the middle of the city ;o)

Thanks guys for nice commented!

Wow... wonder if there's a lot of accidents on a street like this. So narrow. Neat photo.

I don't believe I would even try to get a driver's license over there!

Reminds me of some streets in Paris, but the Köln Turm is no Eiffel Tower ;-)
