Sculptures

This is a UNICEF building.I chose to post about it as on Sunday,16 September was "Welt Kinder Tag" (World Children Day) in Germany.I am not sure if all over the world celebrate at the same day like us.Those sculptures created by Rosalie and I can't find information about her in Wikipedia and the explanation board written down only her name and title of the sculptures "Flossis"

Cologne's KINGkong

This Giant fellow,I used to see in Hohe Strasse when the Antique Shop still not move out and always thought who's going to buy him and now I coincidently found him.Aha,he is bought by a "Furniture & Art" named Schwarzer Elefant (black elephant) as read on the white board and now doing his job on this street to spread his "an eye catcher" charming. But somehow,I have a doubt whether he is still belong to this Antique Shop where I used to see him as I can't remember the shop's name and don't know as well where they move to???

The Fish Skull

I saw first time this "Fish Skull" at this small cosy restaurant located in Cologne's Yacht Harbour and thought,what a nice creative idea to put it at the entrance,is it mean they serve fish as well and it is a good eye catcher too but one day I watched a gardening program on TV and found that you can put also in your garden for make a fish bushes form...INTERESTING!

The Art

And this is the building where the bookstore is.Continue from yesterday and the day before yesterday posted.A careless giant kids just lost his ice cream,hehehe;o) This is not an ice cream advertiser or what so ever but if you wish to know the interesting story how this ice cream cone landed on top of this Shopping mall then Please,Click here

A Sweet Gift

Isn't it beautiful and an excellent shot? I love the colors composition but this beautiful photo of the glass window inside the Cathedral wasn't my shot,It's original from Michis from Paderborn DP when he was in Cologne.So,today,I would like to thank him for sent me this such a beautiful photo.Thank you very much! Continue from yesterday

Sorry for the blurry result :o( .....This is what is look like when I turned around towards the main entrance from yesterday posted.

The Inside

I finally made a snap shot of the Cathedral from inside and I hope you guys who ever wish to see the interior find my photo result good enough :o) as I've said that I have only my old buddy Sony which is too small for this HUGE Cathedral.So,from today on,I will show you around the Cathedral from inside and this is the main entrance.

Man in Blue

This photo actually made before the Blue Sheep that caught my eyes in Rhine Park which I posted around 2 weeks ago but today this man in BLUE caught my eyes in my iPhoto files.So, I chose it for my today post ;o) ...Wonder if he copied The Sheep ;o)

The top peak

Here it is the sculpture that I meant yesterday and the second photo made no more explanation what is all about but when you still wonder where its exactly stand then take a look on yesterday first photo on the top peak of the two towers of Der Dom,there it is,reach the sky! This description is in multilingual,even in Chinese and Japanese and I did a snap shot of the English side :o)

In Rhine Park

We were in Cologne's Family Park last Sunday and it was Children Nature Fun Program. One thing from this HUGE park attracted our attention as we haven't seen yet in our life "A Blue Sheep". Sure, this is an art but we couldn't find any information about it. Anyway, We found they are sooo CUTE ;o)

Street Painter

Different kind of attractions would be find in front of the Cathedral -Der Dom- and one of them is this kind of Painter.Most of them will draw a copy of famous painting and I can say the result is always PERFECT.
