One of relaxing place of Cologne

One of the days when last week the sky gave sunshine and blue sky,I was here to relax (today is raining). This is over looking to other side of Rhine.Behind me or where I sat down to took this photo is the area of old city when continue from yesterday posted the water gauge is on the far right site of this photo and just to reminds I've posted this area which was between bridge and underground street. In summer or as long as the weather is warm enough, this area is full with sunbather or people who just need to relax (sometimes in winter too but not for sunbathing ;o). Behind me are many restaurants and hotels. Do you need me to turn around? ;o)

A beautiful photograph. Very refreshing to see people using the bench and steps to relax. Nice shot.

Thanks for your visits to my blog.

To answer your question about the airplane on oldmanlincoln.com "No, I never flew in this airplane. It was in the National Museum of the United States Air Force and on display. It was a World War I airplane that was put into production about the time or shortly before the war ended.

Thanks again for your visits and comments.

Yes do turn around and get a photo of the rest of the park. We do have alot of places to relax in here mainly by the seafront but sadly we lack your greenery as it is mostly dry and hot troughout most of the year.

I'm looking forward to seeing the restaurants and hotels. It's nice to see the Rhein there, sort of like a story of what happened to the children after they left home in Switzerland! Also, the Aare which flows past Villigen flows into the Rhein and is an important tributary. So, the water that flows past me, flows past you after some time. :0)

Looks very modern...I like to think of Cologne as a historic place, but I guess we have to move with the times ;-)

I have returned to thank you for visiting my blog and for commenting there about how you buy bird seed already packaged with a bowl or feeding station.

We buy the seed in bulk up to 40 pounds at a time and then use the feeders we bought and like the best for specific kinds of seed. In this case, the feeder is about ten years old or older and is used to small sunflower seeds or for the meat inside the seed. In the feeder is both kinds and when empty the I add more seed.

Thank you again.
