I would love to eat your breakfast but it tends to make me look pregnant and at 73 I don't look good pregnant. I gain weight badly. Not in the right places.

I just love croissants but it's not easy to find them fresh daily here in Malta.

A wonderfully appetizing offering for our theme day. I'm still laughing from Abe's comment about if he ate these he'd look pregnant and at 73 that wouldn't look so good. . . LOL! Well, I would apply these to my hips if I ate them too often myself.

I haven't seen ones that look like your Brötchen here (I'll probably see some tomorrow!), though there are lots of small breads (generic Brötchen?). I must say that I'm partial to the Brioche and the Weggen and the Butterzopf. Okay, maybe there's more but I won't go on ... :-)

I'll have the small bread on the left, please! My mother was always eating dark (pumpernickel?) bread from Germany she bought at specialty stores. It tastes great and is very filling and nutritious.

I guess French croissant and French toast are universal now.

Thats cool. We enjoy a chocolate hazelnut spread here at times. Nutella. And can almost eat outdoors all the year round - if you like cold sunny times.
