The Old City

Cologne's old city area and in the back round is another Cathedral named St.Martin, the second one after Der Dom. This area is not far from which I've posted before and also from here. Cologne's old city is not as big as the new Cologne nowadays.Make sense, right? ;o)

I sure did enjoy my first visit on your Cologne city blog. The pics are really nice and original along with the text. I also like the use of the different front in your text (great idea!)
I'll be back!

There are some nice photos on your blog and you show Cologne to be a more lovely and intimate place than I thought it was.
I am checking out Cologne city breaks for the end of the year and I hope that I will recognise some of the local landmarks from your pictures

That is a very atmospheric picture and it really lets me get a feel for the place.
I am hoping to head over to see the famous Cologne christmas markets and eat some of the almost as famous food. I love discovering old cobbled streets like this and I can almost picture myself walking down them with a giant sausage in my hand
